Where to Find and Hire Claude-Certified Architects and Developers: Comprehensive Guide for 2026

More than 400,000 people completed Claude training through Claude Partner Academy in 2026. Training is one step, certification is a second, and availability is a third.

Most certified people work inside the firm that paid for their exam, staffed against that firm's own client work. So the practical answer to where to find and hire Claude-certified architects and developers is a short list of companies that place them. There is no open market to browse.

In this article, you’ll find companies where to find and hire Claude-certified architects and developers, and what to put in a brief so a name comes back instead of a capability statement.

TL;DR

  • Anthropic's training numbers run far ahead of their certification numbers, and both run ahead of the count of people free to start on a project.

  • Partner tiers are company-level facts. Preferred standing requires at least 100 active certified individuals and 15 deployed joint customers.

  • A brief that names the credential, the surfaces, and the start date gets a person offered. A brief that asks for "a Claude architect" gets a capability deck.

  • Where to find and hire Claude-certified architects and developers comes down to 7 companies covered here, which are Intelvision, Cheesecake Labs, Relevant Software, Indicium AI, Grid Dynamics, CI&T, and Cognizant.

Differences Between Hiring Claude-Certified Engineers and General AI Developers

On paper, the two searches look the same. In practice, they behave differently in 4 places, and knowing which ones saves the fortnight most teams spend finding out.

Proof You Can Open

An AI developer's Claude experience arrives as a CV line and a conversation. A certified engineer arrives with a proctored, identity-verified exam result carrying a date. Neither tells you whether the person is any good at your particular problem, and only one of them can be checked in a browser before you commit to anything.

Where the Supply Sits

General AI developers are reachable through job boards and networks. Certified people mostly are not, because they sit inside the firms that paid for their exams, where your job ad never reaches them. Capgemini reports 20,000 professionals certified and KPMG reports 15,000, and all of them are staffed against their own employer's client work. Reaching one means going through a company.

Scope the Credential Sets

An AI developer is usually hired to build something. The certification splits that work in two, with architect level covering system design, evaluation, and integration, and developer level covering building against the API and the agent surfaces. You specify which level you need, and the level you name sets the rate you pay.

Timeline You Control

An open-market hire moves at the speed of your own recruiting process, which you control. A certified engineer moves at the speed of a vendor's bench, which you do not. That can mean days when the firm places people individually, or weeks when your request has to be scheduled around programme work.

  • Fit for: teams that want a named certified engineer working in their sprint within weeks

  • Engagement shape: embedded staff augmentation inside the client's own team

  • Industries served: ConTech, PropTech, FinTech, logistics, energy, automotive

Intelvision is where to find and hire Claude-certified architects and developers, with a process that turns a brief into named candidates in days. A request goes in, 3 to 4 matched profiles come back, and the engineer who is agreed upon is the engineer who joins. First candidates land 2 to 4 days after a brief, and the average run from first call to kickoff is 20 days.

What arrives is a person working inside the client's own team. The assigned engineer joins standups, commits to the client's repositories, and follows the client's delivery process. Vetting keeps that shortlist small, with manual profile review passing 0.61% of applicants and the final stage admitting under 1%.

A 7-day trial opens the engagement, with no setup fees and no deposits. 95% of placed developers stay past 12 months, partnerships average 3 years, and rates are published at €30 to €50 per hour.

Main Deliverables

  • 3 to 4 matched candidate profiles within days of a brief

  • A named engineer working in the client's repositories and standups

Requirements to Set Before You Hire Claude-Certified Architects and Developers

Most vendor conversations stall in the same place. The buyer describes an outcome, the vendor replies with a capability statement, and 2 weeks disappear before anyone names an expert. A brief built from the 6 elements here skips that loop because each one focuses on answering with a person, a date, or a document:

  • Name the credential before the job title. Anthropic runs 4 separate exams at associate, developer, and architect level. A brief asking for "a Claude architect" collects profiles from all 4, and the shortlist arrives unsorted.

  • List the surfaces the work touches. Claude API, tool use, agents, MCP, and Claude Code are different bodies of knowledge. Naming the 2 or 3 that matter tells the vendor which of its people to check first.

  • Separate design work from build work. Architect credentials cover system design; developer credentials cover building against the API. Projects usually need both, in a sequence, and saying so lets a vendor propose 2 people instead of guessing at 1.

  • Put the start date in the brief. Certification says nothing about availability, so the date does more filtering than any credential question. It also surfaces the firms whose bench is already committed.

  • Ask for the tier and the individual in the same sentence. Preferred standing requires at least 100 active certified individuals and 15 deployed joint customers, published 3 June 2026. The useful follow-up is which of those individuals is free for your dates.

  • Define the first deliverable before the shortlist. An architecture review, a working prototype, an evaluation harness. A named first output converts a vendor pitch into a scoped conversation, and it gives you something to judge 3 weeks in.

Final Thoughts

Credential level is the cheapest scoping tool you have when hiring for a Claude build. Deciding whether you need someone who designs the system or someone who builds against it settles the shortlist, the rate, and the shape of the first month, and it takes one conversation with your own team to answer.

Then build the brief outward from that answer. Name the credential, surfaces, date, and ask for a person by name. You should treat a capability statement as an incomplete answer. Vendors who place certified people individually come back within days, and the ones whose bench is already committed say so early, which saves you the 2 weeks that usually disappear at this stage.
