NjectAI: the Chrome extension that remembers your context

NjectAI, also called Nject, saves your business, your audience and the way you write once, as a profile, and adds that context to every prompt you send in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity. You stop re-explaining yourself to every AI. This page says what the product is, what it does, what it costs and how it treats your data, in one place.

What NjectAI does

NjectAI adds a small pill to the message box of the AI tool you already use. The pill carries two buttons, and the extension adds a third behaviour while you type.

  • Improve your prompt rewrites what you typed, however rough, into a clear and complete prompt built from your draft, your active profile and your memory. The new prompt replaces your text and you send it yourself.
  • Context Inject adds your saved context to the message you are about to send. Click the syringe, then send; your context goes out under your text, so the AI reads both together.
  • Autocomplete suggests the rest of your prompt in grey as you type. Tab accepts it, Escape dismisses it, and a switch in the toolbar menu turns it off.
  • The profile bar appears in a new chat and asks which profile you are using this time, so the right context goes with the right job.
  • Memory saves the messages you send and the answers you get, in every supported tool, to one account. NjectAI draws on it when it improves a prompt or adds your context, so the context grows as you work.

How NjectAI works, in three steps

  1. Save your context once. In the NjectAI web app, answer a short interview about what the profile is for: your field, your role, what you want it to help you make. Add links, files or a writing sample if you have them.
  2. Write as usual. Open ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity or Grok and type your request in the message box, as rough as you like.
  3. Improve or inject, then send. Click Improve your prompt to rewrite the draft with your context in it, or Context Inject to add the context to your message. Nothing reaches the AI until you press send.

Behind the pill sit the web app, where you sign up and manage profiles and your plan, NjectAI's own servers, which rewrite prompts and assemble your context, and MidBrain, which holds the memory.

Context profiles

A context profile is a saved description of you and one kind of work. There are three kinds, chosen on the first screen of the interview. A Text profile is for writing, for work or for personal life. An Image profile is for making pictures in your style, with reference images, brand colours and style notes. A Search profile is for research: your research type, the answer format you want, the sources you trust and how deep to go.

One account holds up to 10 profiles. A profile can carry up to 10 files (PDF, DOCX, CSV, and for Image profiles PNG, JPG and WebP, 8 MB each) and a work Text profile up to 5 links. NjectAI reads each file and link and keeps what it learns in the profile's own memory. Keep one profile per job and switch the active one when the job changes; the same profile works in every supported tool.

Which AI tools NjectAI works in

NjectAI works in seven places, with one set of profiles and one memory across all of them:

  • ChatGPT on chatgpt.com: the pill, Autocomplete and the profile bar.
  • Claude on claude.ai: new and existing chats, projects, Cowork and Claude Code sessions.
  • Gemini on gemini.google.com and Google AI Mode in Google Search. Autocomplete runs in Gemini only, and NjectAI stays off in ordinary results and the AI Overview.
  • Perplexity on perplexity.ai and labs.perplexity.ai, where a Search profile shapes research prompts.
  • Grok on grok.com, including Imagine and projects, and Grok on X, never in the X feed.

The extension works on the free plans of these tools as well as the paid ones. For the tools themselves, see our pages on ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.

NjectAI and God of Prompt

NjectAI is part of the God of Prompt ecosystem. God of Prompt is the company behind the prompt library on this site and the prompt generator; NjectAI has its own site at nject.ai, its own account and its own plan. Robert Youssef founded God of Prompt and is the Founder, CEO of NjectAI.

The idea came from the library. God of Prompt gives people engineered prompts to copy; what they still had to do was explain who they are, in every new chat, in every tool. The answer was to deliver the prompt with that context already in it, straight into the AI tool where you type. The AI companies compete with each other, and NjectAI is the neutral layer that works with all of them.

On this site the two meet in two places. Connect your NjectAI account and the library's prompts fill in with your profile, and the generator writes prompts that already know you. In the NjectAI dashboard, the Works with God of Prompt card opens the library and the generator in a new tab. NjectAI also writes on our blog about the tools it works inside: see the NjectAI author page.

The plan: Nject Pro

NjectAI has one plan. Nject Pro costs $9 a month when you pay monthly, or $84 a year when you pay yearly, which works out to $7 a month. It starts with a 7-day trial that asks for a payment method at checkout, and you can cancel at any time from the Subscription tab. Pro unlocks Improve your prompt, Context Inject, Autocomplete and your profiles, up to 10 of them, with the first able to start from a ready-made template.

Without a plan you can still create an account and finish the interview; the profile waits for payment, and the extension's buttons open the Nject Pro window. Saving chats to memory needs only a signed-in account. These are the product's published figures as of October 2026; the current terms are on nject.ai.

Privacy and security

You own your data. The Terms of Service say you keep all rights in the prompts, profiles and memory entries you create and upload, that NjectAI does not use your content to train or fine-tune models, and that it does not sell it to data brokers or advertisers. The extension runs only on the supported AI pages and the NjectAI web app, and sends data only while you are signed in and its switch is on. You can delete a file, a profile or your whole account from the dashboard.

In September 2026, Argon Cyber Security, a Canadian penetration testing company, ran an independent assessment of the extension, the web app and the API against OWASP ASVS Level 1. The extension asks Chrome for three permissions and has host access only to NjectAI's own servers; it does not read your tabs, history or cookies. Passwords are stored as hashes and checked against known breaches. The details are in the product's security and privacy pages at nject.ai.

Frequently asked questions

What is NjectAI?

NjectAI is a Chrome extension and web app that keeps your context in profiles and adds it to the prompts you write in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Perplexity and Grok. One click rewrites a rough request into a clear prompt built on your saved context; one click adds that context to the message you are about to send. You set it up once and the same profiles work in every supported tool.

Is Nject the same as NjectAI?

Yes. NjectAI is the product's name and the name of its Chrome Web Store listing. Nject is the short form the extension uses in its own menus, and the plan is called Nject Pro. Same extension, same account, same profiles.

Which AI tools does NjectAI work with?

ChatGPT, Claude (chats, projects, Cowork and Claude Code), Gemini, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Grok on grok.com and Grok on X. It does nothing on other sites, and on Google and X it acts only on the AI pages, never on search results or the feed.

How much does NjectAI cost?

There is one plan, Nject Pro, at $9 a month or $84 a year, which works out to $7 a month. It starts with a 7-day trial that asks for a payment method at checkout, and you can cancel from the Subscription tab at any time. Prices are in US dollars and are the product's own figures.

Do I need a paid ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini plan to use it?

No. NjectAI works on the free plans of the supported tools as well as the paid ones. It adds its pill to the message box and works with whatever model the tool gives you.

Who owns my data?

You do. The Terms of Service say you keep all rights in the prompts, profiles and memory entries you create, that NjectAI does not use your content to train models and does not sell it to data brokers or advertisers. You can delete a file, a profile or the whole account from the dashboard.

How is NjectAI related to God of Prompt?

NjectAI is part of the God of Prompt ecosystem, with its own site, account and plan. The idea came from the library: deliver a prompt, with your context already in it, straight into the AI tool where you type. On this site, connecting your NjectAI account lets library prompts and the generator fill in with your profile.

Tell it once

Every AI remembers you.

Save your context once in NjectAI. The library here, the generator and every chat in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity start with the AI already knowing who you are.
