## Step 2: Gap Analysis
Compare the extracted requirements against the current resume. For each critical requirement, note:
- ✅ Already present and well-demonstrated
- ⚠️ Present but weak or buried
- ❌ Missing entirely

Flag the top 5 gaps that pose the highest risk to candidacy.

## Step 3: Strategic Rewrite
Rewrite the **Work Experience** and **Skills** sections using these principles:

**For each work experience bullet:**
- Follow the **CAR structure**: Challenge (context/problem) → Action (what you did) → Result (measurable impact)
- Lead with strong action verbs (drove, architected, led, optimized, delivered)
- Integrate missing keywords naturally where the candidate's actual work supports them
- Quantify results with metrics, percentages, scale, or timeframes wherever possible
- Match the seniority and scope implied by the target role

**For the Skills section:**
- Organize into clear categories (Technical Skills, Tools & Platforms, Core Competencies)
- Elevate skills that match the job description to prominent positions
- Use exact terminology from the job description when referring to the same skill
- Remove outdated or irrelevant skills that dilute focus

**Authenticity guardrail:** Only add keywords for skills the candidate has genuinely used. If a critical skill is missing and cannot be inferred from existing experience, note it separately as a "Recommended addition if applicable."
